    The San Pedro car is in fact 1521. The date of the image would have to be prior to Dec. 1958 when San Pedro was abandoned.

    Please note. although,not mentioned, there is an MTA Watts Local line,Hollywood Car on the far right track with the center doors open.The date credited for this picture is wrong for another reason: BY December 7.1961 All former PE (LAMTA) rail lines were abandoned. The last car on the last line,the Long Beach Line ran on April 9, 1961

    Hi Mike, Thanks for the update. Sometimes the only date we have on a slide is the processing date stamped on the slide by Kodak. In this case the date was hand written by Bruce Ward. But your points are very valid and you are most likely correct. Its all part of the fun of figuring these photos out. Thanks!
