644 pulls into the Walker passenger shelter on the Whittier Line. Whittier service was cut back on September 1, 1935, to a single run to Los Angeles and return. This run was finally discontinued on January 22, 1938. However, local service continued on the Whittier Line to Walker,a short distance beyond Slauson Junction. This ran daily until March 6, 1938.
