Fantastic image. This is the corner of E 7th and Redondo Ave looking SE from the NW corner. The buildings to the left on the SE corner are still there today and have almost the same exterior appearance. They were built in 1928 according to county tax records. The building directly behind 384, built in 1919, is also still there according to tax records. Just heavily renovated. Today (2023) it has a Starbucks, UPS Store, and Supercuts. So I believe this photo was taken sometime between 1928 and late Feb 1940 when service on the E 7th line was discontinued. Maybe someone can help date the car barely visible to the left?
