5131 would be inbound to L.A. via subway terminal, so southside and we are looking west. I believe the Thrifty drug store would make this about Highland Avenue?
For an added ref.: In Camera Over Hollywood, John Swope took a shot from what appears to be upstairs in the Dyas/Broadway store looking west where two Hollywood cars are passing. Edge of the Guaranty Bldg. on the north with another Thrifty Drugs on what may be the SW corner of Ivar (c.1936-8).
