3001 in 1962
It’s December of 1962 and a fan trip featuring MTA PCC no. 3001 is underway. Note the fan-applied “for sale” sign on the nose of the unit.

3001 is preserved in operating condition at Orange Empire. It’s been repainted in the original LARy two tone yellow color scheme, giving rise to the nickname “electrical banana.”
That TDH 5301 looks lost with that Disneyland destination sign. Anyone know where this was taken. . or the bus, being new may be part of the fan trip. [strange]
