9117 and 146 at the Division 1 Barn
Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority wrecker no. 146 pushes an LAMTA trolley bus into the Division 1 Barn. No. 9117 from the 3 Line rests in the next stall. The date is March 30, 1963.

I had a sense of saddness when I took this picture. Note the abandoned trolley wire lies on the ground soon after it had been cut down. These
Trolley Buses never ran again in Los Angeles but found a new home in Mexico City.
A mate to the wrecker (ex-MTA/RTD 147) is preserved at Orange Empire, where it’s receiving engine repairs (your local NAPA dealer doesn’t have many parts for White 6-cylinder flatheads).
