non-rail observation: How many of you remember those diamond shaped stop signs the Auto Club installed to protect intersections? (look beside the intersection in this photo)

I recall one of those diamond-shaped STOP signs on Halstead St. in East Pasadena, where the eastern access to the Gold Line station is now. And LATL 521 still exists, in far off Kennebunkport, Maine. It’s tucked away in the back of one of the barns at Seashore Trolley Museum.
