1450 on the J Line
Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (still painted Los Angeles Transit Lines, ex-Los Angeles Railway) J Line streetcar no. 1450 pauses at a light in traffic in this image dated May 1959. The slide included information stating this was from the final H Class trip.

1450 is preserved at Orange Empire (I think it’s the first streetcar I ever operated at the “trolley farm”). It’s currently on display in the Los Angeles Railway barn. It runs, and was in an LARy “parade” a few years ago, but needs body and interior work before it’s “ready for prime time”. It was the highest-numbered H-class car, the other end of the roster, 1201 is in regular service at OERM.
