3001 Fan Trip – Not the Valley

 
Electric Railway Association fans request – and get – an odd destination sign (“San Fernando Valley”) in this fan trip shot of Los Angeles Transit Lines (ex-Los Angeles Railway) PCC no. 3001 from the R Line (Whittier Blvd.). The trip celebrated the 20th anniversary of the PCC car. The date is March 18, 1957.
