R Line 3001 on PCC Anniversary

 
Los Angeles Transit Lines (ex-Los Angeles Railway) PCC car no. 3001 hosts a PCC 20th Anniversary run on the R Line (Whittier Blvd.) in this image captured March 18, 1957. Note the destination sign “San Fernando Valley.”
