I own the unpainted version of this beautiful Suydam brass HO piece. I am looking to add a few more Suydam brass HO pieces from the “Ten” series to my collection – such as the PE #1032 wood interurban coach and the PE #1000 commodore business car.
I used to thumb my nose at the mere thought of buying used/pre-owned brass model trains. Now, all I ever think about is collecting used Suydam HO brass interurban cars. I wish I’d started collecting these amazing Suydam models years ago.
They just don’t make brass train models the way they used to. 🙁
I bid and won another Suydam PE interurban #1360 combine from eBay a little more than two weeks ago. This is my second PE #1360 combine.
Now, I’m concentrating on the Suydam PE #1032 coach – this interurban has been eluding me since I started collecting Suydams in January. The #1032 is the most difficult ho brass model to obtain. I obtained the PE #1000 commodore business car over a month ago from eBay.
Once I acquire the #1032, I will have all three “Tens” to complete my collection. These vintage ‘clerestory roof’ cars are interesting to look at.
