This is a 994 class model modified into the 999. I can’t see the end, but the prototype had an end door, similar to the 1000 class cars. The roof end must be modified as it must be straight across for a five window end, The buffer must also be modified, Sometime during Hi-Country Brass’ existence, they made approximately five pre production 999 class cars. I know nothing else about these cars and the disposition of them is unknown.
I finally have a PE #950 Venice car in my growing Suydam HO scale brass collection. It’s very hard to find, therefore a rare piece. Great looking car. I’m going to try to fnd more 950’s to add to my collection.

This is a great looking piece from Suydam. I am on the lookout for one to add to my (Suydam) HO brass interurban car collection. It’s gorgeous! 🙂
