There are still tracks remaining in the City of Cerritos of this by-gone route. A good view of the remaining route is on the edge of the Cerritos Regional Park near Del Amo Blvd and Bloomfield Avenue in Cerritos.
Cerritos, and Los Cerritos are two different places on different former lines. Los Cerritos is on the Long Beach line between Dominguez Jct. and Bixby Heights.
The tracks near Cerritos Regional Park are remains from the PE Santa Ana line. No longer is the Santa Ana Line trackage continuous since many rails have been removed and crossings paved over. The 1044 fan trip pictured was run on the Newport Beach Line.
