In 1948 the Bay Area Electric Railroad Association scheduled a weekend of excursions over many Pacific Electric lines. Here is car no. 1057 crossing the  single-track trestle bridge over the Rio Hondo River bridge.

I think #1057 was one of eight interurban cars that ran on the Peninsular Railway. The cars arrived with the “Tens”, from The Jewett Car Company in 1913 on their own wheels to the Pacific Electric Railway.

I like this excellent b&w shot of #1057 on a bridge trestle.
