That sure looks like Main Street and Ocean in Seal Beach and the car is turning back to return to Long Beach via Ocean and the old bridge over the river.
The destination board reads “Long Beach Pacific Ave. station”. This photo was taken in Seal Beach at Ocean and Main. The line ran over the bridge along the peninsula and to downtown Long Beach.
