This is actually Long Beach. Check out the destination sign.
Also, one wouldn’t expect that many sailors to be boarding in Riverside. Another “spotting feature” would be the lack of what the U. S. Navy personnel would call “heads” (that’s restrooms to landlubbers), which were required on cars going from LA to the Inland Empire.
This is Ocean Blvd station in LGB and the train is beginning its trip back to LA
