Metropolitan Transit Authority (ex-Pacific Electric) units no. 1527 and 9223 rest at the San Pedro Station. The image is dated November 28, 1958.

I found it interesting that LA MTA (version 1.0) gave the two PE line cars that they received new numbers in the LARy crane number series. 9223 was 00161, and survives as a static display (last time I saw it was in Seal Beach) Note that LARy derrick 9225 is preserved in running condition at Orange Empire. Had MTA been a bit more interested in historical accuracy, this car would have become 9348.
