I have lived and worked in the City of Compton and based on the white building in the far left of the picture, this is a “blimp” heading southbound toward Long Beach at Winona Ave. The white building is an athletic club erected at the site in 1926 and is on the west side of the tracks. That building is there to this present day and I believe it is vacant.
