The Circus Comes to Santa Ana
A Pacific Electric car (possibly no. 148 or 149) rolls along downtown Santa Ana’s 4th street in 1910 awaiting the arrival of the Ringling Bros. Circus parade (see the wagon in the distance).

I believe the the car is actually on Main Street, on the Santa Ana – Orange line. Note how the two tracks curve to the right of the picture onto 4th Street. Pictures of trolleys on this line are rare. Note also in the distance, the large horse drawn wagon that is crossing Main St. Maybe it is part of the circus parade.
