PE i590 was origunally built on an order for Cuba, bur due to payment difficulties, PE was able to pick up the unit along with 1591.
The two motors wound up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, converted to third-rail and trolley for service there.
Anyone want to narrow the date? We can start out with sometime after July ’44.
