This is on the Van Nuys Line on the Southern Pacific tracks halfway between North Hollywood and the turnoff to Van Nuys.
The station of Rio Vista was between the Tujunga Wash and Los Angeles River on Vineland Boulevard in North Hollywood. The shelter has been preserved at Travel Town Museum. The site of the museum was never on any railroad line.
