Former Pacific Electric Echo Park Line 100-series streetcars idle at the terminus in Vera Cruz, Mexico on July 23, 1958. Many ex-PE units were sold to operations around the world after rail operations ceased in Los Angeles.

Note that the cars have only one trolley pole. According to Special 28, they were modified for single-end operation, and the modern control systems were replace with Type K controllers.
