I believe this is on Venice Blvd. just east of Crenshaw Blvd. I think the exact intersection here is Venice Blvd. at Norton Ave, looking eastbound. There was a short section of private right of way on this stretch of track. I love the LAPD motorcycle cop in the frame, most likely he is on his way back to the old Wilshire Division station that was at Pico Blvd. at West Blvd where the city now has a public pool.

I agree with Charles. Looks like the photographer was standing at about 7th looking east. The Aetna Dry Cleaning Co. still has a listing in “Phone Pages” giving its address as 1600 6th Ave. The buildings on the left are also still there.
