This is another view of Vineyard Junction looking in a northeasterly direction toward Los Angeles. The old Sears and Roebuck department store is just out of view behind the car. The wood chip burner in the background was, as I recall, part of the Cooper Lumber Company on Pico Blvd. at Rimpau Blvd.
I love to watch a train as it cants during a turn.
